After a month or so with a lot of darkness, it starts to get lighter.
It's still dark, the snow is deep, and the lakes are frozen, but the days are getting longer and longer. We see blue skies most days. Life returns.
If you are going to visit Norrbotten, wait another month. We think mid-March to mid-April is best when the weather is nice, you can do lots of outdoor activities, and it can be a little warmer than in February.
