Plupp is a Swedish children's book character created by Inga Borg.
In her book she richly illustrates the Swedish mountain world with both humour and expertise. Plupp is a small figure with blue hair and a red nose, and lives in a peat hut by a lake called Blåvattnet somewhere far up north. Plupp is not a troll but an unsightly one, according to Borg. Which means that Plupp is invisible to humans.

Plupp can also talk to animals - two of the closest friends are the lemming Lemming and the ermine Hermelin. Plupp has inspired generations to spend time in Swedish nature and the mountains.
